We aim to be completely transparent, staying away from terminology that is often used to confuse and bamboozle people. If you do not understand any of the points we make, or want further clarity on any part of your purchase please do not hesitate to contact us.
We agree to do everything required to manage your website on your behalf. We do not create content, nor do we proofread your content. You are responsible for the content on your website and we take no responsibility for the content on your website. It is our job to release you from the woes of managing your own website. We will push to you the information that years of experience have taught us is important in making a website a success with the search engines.
After you pay your deposit we will start work immediately to create a design you are happy with. We will send you a link to complete the website brief document. This document is hugely important and completing helps ensure we keep to the agreed timescales to go-live with your new website.
It would not be practical to give people unlimited revisions so we try to keep revisions to a minimum. This ensures we deliver the website in the agreed timescale.
Each website requires a deposit of £740 (plus VAT).
30 days after paying your deposit you will automatically be sent a link to subscribe to the monthly management fee of £47 per month (plus VAT).
We will be alerted to failed payments. We will notify you of failed payments. If your monthly payment is not cleared in our bank account within 30 days of failure then your website will be taken down. This will harm your search engine rankings. We understand that all businesses face unforeseen challenges, so if you have concerns over making your monthly payment, please do contact us to see how we can help.
We include up to 10 standard pages with our fully-managed websites. This does not include product pages or news / blog articles. Pages that would constitute as 'standard' might be: About, Contact, Services etc.
We include up to 500 articles with our fully-managed websites. So you can create up to 500 blog posts / news articles using our admin area.
We offer basic ecommerce facilities with our fully-managed websites. You can have up to 10 products. You can only have a single variant, per product. You can have 1 delivery rule. An example delivery rule would be: All goods are shipped for a fixed, flat fee to UK postcodes. We can exclude certain UK postcodes if you do not wish to ship to remote locations for the same fixed, flat fee. All payments are processed by Stripe. No card details are stored with us. You will need to create a Stripe account and provide us with your Stripe API key.
You can create a maximum of 500 news / blog articles and you can upload up to 3 images per article. Advanced users can add this content themselves using our Admin Portal.
On-page SEO refers to the on-page elements that can influence your search engine rankings. We will score each page through the eyes of the search engines using our own SEO tools. If a page is not optimised for the keyword in the main title then we will report this to you and you can then ask us to optimise the page as part of your monthly management fee.
W3C will report any technical errors, by page. Warnings will be ignored. Errors will be fixed. You should be able to validate any page at any time and it has no errors. If you see errors then please report them to us.
We use basic, non-intrusive analytics code from plausible.io
We will email you core metrics each month so you can see what pages are performing well on your websites.
Our web servers are backed-up on a weekly basis. We take daily database backups to ensure no data-loss is greater than 24 hours. It is our aim to ensure data loss is kept to an absolute minimum in the event of a technology disaster. Our web servers are provided by Digital Ocean, in the UK.
Support is available by email Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm (UK). We are a team of people all with shared responsibilities and email is the preferred method of communication. It allows us to track each support request and keep a history of all changes made to your website.
In the unlikely event you want to move away from us, after the minimum contract of 12 months, you can cancel your website service by giving 3 months notice.
